My website has pictures and short explanations of projects I have designed and constructed since 1997.
Up to 2006 I was a full time firefighter with Surrey Fire and Rescue - 31 years of that is enough for anyone - but back in 1997 my youngest was at Selborne Primary School.
I put a dipping platform on their new pond
and built this decking and seating out of liberated telegraph poles, scrounged timber, donated nuts bolts and nails as an outside teaching area to help with the then overcrowding.
This didn't go unnoticed by visiting staff from other schools and many other projects followed in schools and domestic play areas.
These are all one off designs - from a 2m high working sundial to a simple domestic pergola.
